    EaseUS todo backup

I am hoping someone knows how to use this software better than I do. I have it installed and can make a "Cdrive" backup on my Ddrive partition. I would like to make the same backup image on and external Hard Drive. I do NOT see anyway to do that.

Can someone give me so guidance on this matter.

How did you select the "Ddrive partition" as the destination?

When you browse for a destination all other possible destinations should show as well as the "Ddrive".

If your external disk being recognized by windows?

My 'external drive' shows as "G" drive.

That's fine. Nothing wrong with that.

First thanks for all the responses..

    Here is where EaseUS opens:

    EaseUS todo backup-easeus-1.jpg

On the right is where I would normally make the backup for he Cdrive. How it selects the D drive for creating the backup, I have NO idea.

Now I want create a back by a different window in EaseUS. I would select "Disk/Partition backup on the left.
    EaseUS todo backup-easeus-2.jpg

This is the next window to open:

I see where to select the destination, but HOW do I tell it which partition to backup??

Then when I get it backed up, how would I restore the backup image to the Cdrive?

BTW I am using the free version of EaseUS todo.

    Any help is appreciated.

Since you are using the free version: perhaps the free version does not have the feature of backing up an external drive. I use the free version of Macrium Reflect (I've tried EASEUS but found the backup and restore way too convoluted compared to Macrium) and there is the ability to b/u and restore my USB external West. Dig. drive. The user guide on the EASUS site for the free version implies that it will only work (backup) on one's main drive; the place where it shows 2 drives is the instructions to copy the first drive to the second.

I have a paid version of EASEUS but hate it compared to even the free Version of Macrium Reflect. I only use Macrium Reflect.

    1. Click disk and partition backup

    EaseUS todo backup-1.jpg

    2. EITHER tick the box next to the Disk - then you could untick any partitions you don't want to include

    EaseUS todo backup-2.jpg

    3. OR - hover over a partition and a checkbox appears. Make sure boxes of any partitions you want image are ticked (in this case, I only ticked one partition)

    EaseUS todo backup-3a.jpg

    4. Click Browse to select destination of image file.

It is suggesting L:\My Backups as destination - you can change that by browsing to a different destination

Easeus is not difficult, but if you are looking for the simplest program for imaging, I suggest Aomei Backupper.
Aomei have a free ( standard ) version and the Aomei Backupper Pro version is on giveaway at the moment
