    How to access winre.wim?

Where in a Windows 10 installation is winre.wim stored? If it's stored in the EFI system partition, how can I access it?

I'd like to use it to build backup software (Macrium Reflect) rescue media.

Macrium should automatically find it and use it when you use the Rescue Media Builder. Click the Advanced button and select WinRE on the 'Choose base WIM' tab.

Most imaging programs will find it.

If you want is for another purpose a simple way is to use diskgenius to copy it to wherever you want.

Yep. IMHO, this is much better than Minitool. Download the portable version:
    Free Download DiskGenius
unzip then run. Right click on Winre.wim->Copy to Desktop

    Perfect, thanks!

I want the wim file because I want to add a couple of apps before using Macrium to have Macrium add Reflect to the wim.

DiskGenius Portable was the perfect tool to grab that wim file.
