If i got this right, you want to backup images to that free 1 GB partition (grey)?

You have to make a partition first on it. It is not formatted yet.
You can not put the Image of the partition on the same partition.

The source you have selected includes DATA (G:). Looks like the destination you selected is G:\november15-00-00.mrimg.

The GUI of that program is not the easiest.

You have the G: partition selected in Source and as the destination. You cannot put an image of a partition on the partition you are trying to make an image of. Untick G: in Source, then it will be available to use for your image.

Select the option Create an image of the partitions required to backup and restore Windows. This will only select the main system partition (C:) and the hidden partitions required to boot Windows. You have selected G" as a source partition and you can't backup to the same partition.

If you are referring to my post - the option I mention will only select C: and the hidden partitions required to restore Windows. You can backup D: at the same time but will need to tick the box to select it.
