Interesting to note that info “backup has started” dialogue box does not appear on windows 11 .176 version when backup starts. At least on my computer. All others with windows 10 show y]this dialog box.

Odd. It does for me when I start a backup manually (which is the only way I start mine).

As I said above, it does the banner for me, too. All's well. Successful patch, as usual.

I was so proud of myself. After the 21H2 update, I waited for the FF 92 update, THEN made my backup, yesterday.
Then... bam... MR update today. I think it's a plot to drive me crazy.
So you don't backup every day? I do...but I probably make more mistakes than you.

Should add it to Murphy's laws.

Although that could be considered a good thing as you have a recent escape route if the update goes pear shaped. That's why my daily scheduled backup is timed to be an hour before MS normally posts updates.

I have my daily incremental update scheduled for 9AM as that's time I usually finish with checking for updates and new SW tryouts. PC is on 24/7 so it actually doesn't matter when.

    Anyone noticed a longer boottime of latest resque-media ( 8.0.6161) , compared with 8.0.6036 ( previous) ?
After updating my resque-medium , its now 4 minutes .......used to be 2 minutes .

I haven't timed mine (& I thought I was obsessive compulsive). When I installed the update, it required a reboot, which seemed to take a long time. However, I just rebooted & the time seemed about the same as before.

Problem with scheduled Incremental backup this morning.

Can't find a cause. Except...... few days ago I run manually full backup of disk I boot W11 from W10 but it was OK until this morning.
    That caused this.

Edit, just run it manually and it passed.

Windows 11 - before you update, think Reflect 8

Microsoft Windows 11 says it was designed to bring you closer to what you love. It was also designed to keep hackers and bad actors further from the things they love - your data.

Along with a UI refresh, Windows 11 features some serious security upgrades that demand certain hardware requirements in order to function.

With Macrium Reflect, the Windows 11 upgrade process can be performed in a way that ensures all your data and information remains intact and secure.

For a limited time, we’re offering 20% off Reflect 8 Home. By using our latest version to prepare for the Windows update installation, you’re protecting your data - for less!
