Go into the create rescue media dialog. Select the boot Menu option and there is a radio button to remove it

The build button changes to remove so hit that and it will be gone.
Thanks Kado, that did the trick. Would have never thought to look under "Create rescue media".

It can also be deleted in System Configuration. Pull up the run box (windows key + r), click on the boot tab, highlight and delete. It should be gone on next restart.

It's back to the V7 size as of the patch this morning. Have you done the patch?
Yep. Better but not perfect. The company will work things out, I'm sure.

Typo in the release notes, which is now corrected.

Thanks, TC. If I ever get a few minutes, I'm going to install one of my 4-pack on this machine, since the one I have installed doesn't qualify for a free update. I'll probably pay for an update to this one later.

Does anyone have issues with understanding the UI as in the icons? I miss the colorful ones and especially that Blue HDD for the file types themselves. Also the new Restore Tab seems not as good in comparison and I raised a ticket not being able to move the columns or hide some. As well as the really tiny font and it just seems like the font ignores truetype altogether? This is on Version 8.

Does boot media made with 8 have the new UI in the PE environment?

Oh also I can't install 7 to roll back to as it seems all my 7 keys are now not valid (also put that in my ticket)?

EDIT: just saw the V8 discussion thread oops.

You might wanna try downloading the Macrium Reflect Download Agent and have it download the latest v8.0.5928 file and use it to update.
Thanks. It finally came through today after many, many tries.

I have had no such problem updating my 4 licenced v8 machines.

Do you have a 3rd-party AV? Apparently this "the connection with the server was reset" error can be due to a false positive. Been a known problem for some time, apparently.....
Macrium Support Forum - Connection with the server was reset
It finally came through today, after many, many tries. Only once and a while it gave the "reset" error. Mostly it just said Error and would fail.

New update 7.3.5925 for v7 today (nice to see v7 is still being updated). Thanks should go to @Runnerbean for the heads up.

As seems often the case, it takes a while before the download server catches up with the update notification. Until it does you'll get a 403 error. This usually gets sorted within an hour.

    Attachment 334316
I had no problem updating to 7.3.5925 on my Win10 machine. I't still doesn't show an update for version 7 on my WinXP machine. I'll wait awhile before complaining to them.
