Nor do I. Takes 3 1/2 minutes with verify on a 30GB system that condenses to 16GB. I'm a backup freak.
It also takes a dang good memory to remember to do a backup . . . that's why I generally schedule mine.

That's interesting - I was assuming it had more to do with one's hardware ( HDD or SSD, type of CPU, etc ).
On the few occasions I've restored an image, It's always taken about 20-25 minutes.
Not if you have the paid version with Rapid Delta Restore. The closer to the backup the fewer changes to back out.

Received a test build from the good folks at Macrium. Hoping it addresses two of the three issues I reported several posts back.

Wonder if they would agree to conduct classes for Microsoft and teach them how to do that?

They might get assimilated by the Redmond Blob, and Macrium would become Backup as a Service!

    Reflect 8 - coming soon

Macrium Reflect is now 20% off for the holiday period, and if you buy now it includes a free upgrade to Reflect 8 when it is released.

Team Macrium has been hard at work throughout 2020 to get Reflect 8 polished and ready to go. We just need to put the finishing touches on, but we’re happy to announce that if you purchase Reflect 7 now, you’ll receive a free upgrade to Reflect 8 upon release.

And we know how irritating it is to buy something and find it on sale right after, so if the upgrade wasn’t good enough, we’re currently offering Reflect 7 for 20% off!

Little is known about what may be new in Reflect 8, but there is information about viBoot 8 Beta, which will add a Dark Theme and Virtualbox support.

Macrium viBoot v8 introduces the new Dark Theme UI elements and background. This provides an enhanced user experience with higher contrast text and a more modern look and feel.

We’ve also added direct support for Oracle VirtualBox by implementing .mrimg to .vmdk file virtualization....
