I forced the update via Media Creation tool created Flash drive for both Laptop and Desktop, left 3rd machine alone for now, but i always force updates each and everytime. Desktop wasn't offered via Windows update, but upgraded main Desktop anyways

Though Laptop had it offered via Windows update, but wouldn't install from that was, said problem with recovery partition, so opted for Clean install on that one as well

We are way off topic for this thread.

Except perhaps to say we can afford to take the risks of forcing it, safe in the knowledge that our Macrium images are up to date and 100% reliable.

As it happened, one of my two machines that were offered it on Day One was the one who's Macrium image I restored to a VM a month before and upgraded that VM 'twin' to the 19041.208 RP release. So I knew it would be fine to accept the offer. The two I use to run VMs have not seen it offered, and I'm certainly not going to force in onto them - I need them to be stable!

Besides, evidence shows that what actually got released still thinks its an Insider build, hence the defer quality/feature update options for Pro are missing in Windows Update!

Better discuss that here though ....

    An interesting find.
On all my PC's that were updated using an ISO created with MCT, show up in AIDA64 as Insider Preview builds

    Yes it is!
I've been debating on unsubbing to this thread I created(and not updating the 1st post anymore), because there is way too much off topic chit-chat.
There is another thread on using the product(in first post is a link).
I really wish people would create their own threads when they have problems, and maybe mention the link here, but discuss it in their own thread.

I see your point, but that would be too long a process. Since using MR, all my backups are scheduled to be verified right after they are done and so far, not once, have they failed me during Restore.
If you have Pro, it takes no time at all as you can open image in Hyper-V using Viboot.

@Bree has already mentioned that to me in post #1011. Thanks anyway.

Updating today’s CU on one of my portable systems and system stopped responding at 47%. Did a hard power cycle, now won’t boot. No problem, backed up with Macrium. Cannot use my menu with macrium so pulled out cd and loaded it. No go. Won’t read from cd. Never had this problem before.

    Hmm...

What's the sense of having this Topic, as it is way off.
    Create another thread.

    It's easy!

This is a macrium issue. Isn’t this macrium forum?

Yes but it's intent was to show New Updates To Macrium Reflect and NOT to discuss problems with MR.
