Anyone else notice that After applying latest patch backup-time seems to be longer? I timed mine twice and it takes 18 to 20 minutes longer to backup my fastest computer than before this patch.
Mine takes less than 6 minutes.

Same here Josey but it all depends on the size of the used space on the drive you are backing up.

Mine seems the same. May be worth checking your Disk Write performance (Backup->Disk Write Performance...) to make sure it's using the best method.
Thank you kado897. I never noticed the disk test on Macrium. I changed it from file system to direct I/0 and the time to backup went from 1:30 to :56. Appreciate your response. I have 3 operating systems on 3 disks each of 1 TB, so like to backup often and in as short a time as possible! Thanks again.

Yeah, I've been caught out like that before.

Having applied this update the rescue media function is now broken I think. I normally re create my rescue media after every update, now I get a message that it needs a 936Mb download from Microsoft which I allow then it seems to get stuck in a loop of "need to download a 205Kb file", click download, same message, over and over, clicked download 30 times and it was still going so cancelled, cant seem to re build rescue disk now.

I got the same message on my WinPE rescue but it didn't loop, just did the one download and completed the build. On another machine which uses WinRE there was no additional download so you may be able to create a WinRE rescue disk instead.
