Are people expecting V8.0 to stop working in Jan 2024 or just go off support?

By assumption has been it will still work, just unsupported.

    Other thoughts?

It'll keep working, but bye-bye CVE security updates.

Thanks. I have bought and free versions and I've installed the free version on around 40 client machines.

I wonder if the next shoe to drop will be the elimination of the "Bought" product in favour for the "Subscription" model. I wrote a comment on the TrustPilot site that I thought their pricing model was a money grab.

Since you're concerned, and you have a PAID license, you should go on their Forums and offer similar comments to the (2) threads they have running concerning that.

Thanks, I didn't know they had threads. When I get time I will do that.

Just unsupported. Reflect Free will continue to work. Only a major OS update from MS could break it, and of course it won't get a patch if that happens.
(Unlikely any time soon, I'm still running Reflect Free v7.2 on at least one W11 machine).

Yes, you can continue to use the software in perpetuity, your license to use the software is unaffected.
