Hi,
Yeah I believe I only made a new winpe recovery media for 1909 and it's been that way every since (had to actually older didn't work to create a system image anymore)
I use it for creating system images too so if it doesn't work I know something ms security wise changed and the winpe needs to be updated/ redone.
Ummm, Macrium is one of the few OEMs with a quick response to problems we may experience. IOW, if a person has an issue and reports it, it's quickly evaluated, and if found to be something other than the occupant of the chair in front of the monitor, a fix is sent out ASAP.
I just don't think asking them to hold off on the fix until they have several is something the person with the issue would appreciate. Thing is, we don't know how many people have the issue; it could be a rare issue, or it could affect thousands of people.
I tried to find out how many people use MR, but didn't succeed. I am quite sure, though, that millions of people use just the free version. Which is updated right along with the paid version when applicable.
I just don't think it's feasible for Macrium to send out an email to every MR user every time they update.
As someone said earlier, you may not want or need an available update, but the vast majority of users may consider the update you don't want a necessity.
You can please some of the people some of the time; you cannot please all of the people all of the time. It just ain't possible.

99% agree with you. The only slight weakness in the free version is that it does not offer incremental backups which rival AEOMI does in its free version.
Anyway I recently bought 4 Home licences on Black Friday at 50% off (and 4 are already half price) i.e. 4 licences for cost of one - bargain.
Paid version. I teach my students how to use the free version, though. They're all Senior Citizens, and I find that they can best afford free versions . . . Kinda like myself, but Macrium had the half-price sale, and although I don't use any of the advanced features, it's good to support when I can.
