It is extremely easy to convert any disk, including USB flash drives from GPT to MBR:

1. In elevated Command Prompt, run DISKPART
2. Command LIST DISK lists all disks. In my case now, DISK 3 is my USB flash drive
3. An asterisk (*) in GPT column means that it is a GPT disk
4. I select it with command SEL DISK 3
5. Command CLEAN wipes selected disk empty
6. Command CONVERT MBR converts it to MBR
7. Checking again with LIST DISK...
8. ... I can see that it is now an MBR disk (asterisk missing in GPT column)

Follow, step by step the tutorial #option 4, up to step 13 and you'll be good
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

Once done, use the USB flash drive to create the MR Rescue media!

Yeah, but hopefully, they will never have a reason to distinguish between GPT and MBR. Or Fat 32, exFat, or NTFS.

As long as you don't convert it to GPT, it will always be MBR!
