Yes. Free v8.0 will not get upgraded to v8.1 so it has its own v8.0.xxxx series of bug fix/security updates from now until it's EOL on 1st Jan. 2024.
Please indulge my ignorance, but 8.0.7279 is the last free version, right?

Yes, or at least it's the latest one. There may (or may not) be more updates for Free between now and and of servicing on 1st January 2024. If so they will all be v8.0.xxxx, there's no upgrade to v8.1 for Reflect Free.

Thanks, I'll definitely make note of that.

Personal opinion: My data is very valuable to me, so I consider good backups an absolute 100% necessity, every bit as important as actually having a CPU installed in the system . Add to that the fact that Macrium occasionally has some really good sales on Reflect and I find it to be a great value for the money, especially since it allows me to fully automate all my backup processes.

I've used quite a few backup programs and I just find Reflect to be about the most versatile of all of them.

Just my 2 cents worth to encourage people to consider the full paid package

Even at full price certainly helluva cheaper than potential loss of data. If anybody doubts let them check prices for professional data retrieval from a failed storage device. It's like paying insurance I drive about 60 years now, payed untold money for insurance and only once I had a claim and even that was after being rear ended. Still there was a peace of mind that counted most.
