One answer is to image to more than one backup drive, then keep one in safe off-site storage - with a relative or friend, perhaps, or a safe deposit box at your bank.

Coupled with backing up your personal files to OneDrive or similar that should fit the bill.

Thanks Josey. I am still getting the error when trying to download, so I'll be patient.

As an aside, I threw a Hynix SSD into a system today, and found that Macrium provide the software to transfer the data!

Hynix don't have anything that comes close to Samsung's Magician, but their SSD performance is right there with Samsung.

Thanks Josey, can you copy paste(not a screenshot) what the changelog is please.
I got the version 8 free version from MajorGeeks, and it only offers an update to version 7 which fails

Worked for me. They said they fixed the fonts. If they did... it's only on the left and top.

We had the same problem with yesterday's new update for v7, it takes time for the CDN servers to catch up with the new release.

I've been able to get the update though, here are the release notes.

I got an update to 5928 today for Version 7. I haven't put v.8 on my computer yet.

Edit: Oops, that should have been 5925, not 5928.

Hmmm, Ghot, it looks like that update is to v.7.3.5928, not 8.0? Or, maybe another mess-up . . .

I looked for an update from 7.3.5925 to 7.3.5928, and it wasn't offered to me.

Which makes me wonder just what the heck is going on!

Only the top level menu fonts have improved and the rest remain tiny. Hope this is fixed soon.
