Was not a big update, you are most probably safe with that one you just made.

Yep no real need. Have a look at the changelog if you are concerned.
Maybe, but knowing myself, I love the feeling of being up-to-date at every level (rescue media , boot menu, e.g) especially when it comes to my system image backups. I am already working on it. Thx anyhow.

Does have the advantage that your new image will contain the updated version of MR.

No changes in the ( most important issue !) resque-media...............
So , no reason to make a new one , this time.

For some reason, whenever there is a new version I always refresh my rescue media also. I don't like to play with fate...Maybe this is just me!

Do you test your rescue media each time to see that it boots and sees your Images?

Yes, both the start menu and the usb stick. It's interesting that the USB stick searches my network drives quicker than the start menu.

" I always refresh my rescue media also. I don't like to play with fate...".............did you see any change-log about the resque-media ? I did not , this means ; still safe to use your previous resque-media !
( sometimes there are better things to do

Yes, I do and that is to make sure it is working if and when needed. I rarely use it to make a restore if my computer is working fine. Understand that I can make a "Restore" for other reasons.

In the update description, Macrium talked mainly about viBoot IIRC and other minor fixes. No one knows what the latter (minor fixes) entail. I just want to play it safe.

I used to do that until I tried a Macrium rescue CD more than a year old and found that it still worked perfectly to restore a current image. If one ever fails, I can always go to another computer and burn a new disk.
