I bought a single version Home version of Macrium Reflect 7 1st Nov 2020, so I guess I'm just going to miss out on a free upgrade. What sort of discount would I be likely to receive if I choose to move to v 8 on release? I don't need more than one seat, so the 4 pack is not attractive.

The long answer is that we don't know yet, however v6 to v7 was 40% discount I think.

Thanks for that - well worth it. It's such a good product that I don't begrudge paying. And it's British 🇬🇧😁

It certainly is. Saved my bacon on more than one occasion.

The "usual" previous version to current version update has been 50% over the last coupla versions when the release has been made. Stay tuned... only a few more cosmetic issues, hopefully...

I really do wonder HOW(?) 8-version could be better then my ( golden) 7-version ...........
Without 7-version my PC-experience would be much worse , coz it saved my data many times !!

I have one single version too, so I now own a five licenses! I'm waiting to see what the discount will be for the one too. Whatever the discount, I think I'll just count myself lucky to get one.

The significant changes are for the most part improvements to the User Interface (which I've always thought to be a little 'clunky'). There's a 'dark mode' in v8, for example. You will be able to make images of your USB flash drives in v8 too. And viBoot will add support for Virtualbox as well as Hyper-V.

What's new in Macrium Reflect v8.0 Beta
We've been working hard to improve Macrium Reflect for the up and coming v8 release. There are many new features and improvements, requested directly or discussed in our forums, that are included now.
