just want some clarifications....
my backup set-up is like this...
my question is:
If say I'm in the middle of creating a backup and Macrium is consolidating the incremental backup to form a full syntetic backup then all of a sudden a power interruption happened and rendered the the full backup corrupted, will I still be able to use the remaining incremental backups to restore or does it need the full backup?
I suppose it would depend on where the process was when the power was interrupted. But just to be safe you could immediately run a new full backup. That way it wouldn’t mater what state the old backup was in.Sup!!!

This also brings up an important point of having a UPS for your PC to avoid having power issues during critical operations. They’re very reasonably priced.
