Macrium Reflect free is partially broken at the moment, it doesn't have the USB 3.0 driver included in version 7.2.4473, I am unable to recover the image from my backups in an external HDD connected to USB3.0 port, I think Macrium developers know about the problem and working on an update.

Well guys, I finally did what I could with MR, but ran into a bit of a problem.
I managed to create an image of my computer's hard drive to the external hard drive, but was unable to create a bootable flash drive to access it. I followed the instructions on the program to create the flash drive. I attempted to use a 4GB FD I have. After it appeared for several minutes to be going through the creation process, I got the following message:
"USB does not contain a partition table, it may not be UEFI bootable. Please use Microsoft diskpart to initialize this disk as MBR".
In the window containing this message, there was a "View logs" button that I clicked, which revealed this:
"Open handle to physical drive: \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE2
Read drive geometry
Check for active FAT32 partition in removable media
No active FAT partitions found
Check track zero writeable
Failed to write track zero to disk (5): Access is denied.
Write check failed, checking for file system at start of disk
WARNING: First partition found at start of disk, type is 4, size is 3.73 GB
Track zero is read only for selected disk"
I have no clue as to what all this means other than, "It didn't work". But how do I make it work?

Format at least one if not two USB sticks as FAT32, there should be a choice that implies a partition will be made. I think the partition covers the whole flash stick.
You do what it says and use DISKPART. NB: doing so will delete everything from the from the USB, so make sure you don't have anything on it that you want to keep.
Open a command prompt (Admin) and type DISKPART.
At the DISKPART> prompt, type the following commands:
LIST DISK
(in the list of disks, identify the USB and use its disk number in the next command in place of #)
SELECT DISK #
CLEAN
CONVERT MBR
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK
EXIT
Now try this usb again in Macrium.

BTW, since everything I have will be deleted after I format the flash drive and the "rescue drive" takes up 1GB of space, will it be ok to add things back into the remaining 3GB of space AFTER the rescue drive is created? Or would that hurt the rescue drive portion somehow?
While I'm still here, I should ask if the external hard drive where I put the disk image should also have a "rescue drive" or whatever the bootable part is called that I'm trying to put on the flash drive. When I was trying to create the rescue drive before, it allowed me to select which drive I wanted to put it on, and offered the option of the external hard drive since it was still connected to my computer. I was thinking of starting out with that, but am not sure if that actually works or not. I think I heard that simply clicking on the image will open up the image, but the problem is that the external HDD has to be booted first. Will the rescue drive feature work on the HDD if I opt to put it there?
Since creating a rescue disk erases everything on a drive, I don't want to do this on the external HDD where I just put the disk image, so I figure I'd better ask before trying it.
