    Backup of Forza Horizon 4

    Hello to all here,

i want to backup my Forza Horizon 4 which is installed to c:\programfiles\WindowsApps. I used the build in backup functionality of Windows 10 to back it up. If i now will make a fresh Windows 10 installation and then restore my backup back to c:\programfiles\WindowsApps will Forza Horizon 4 be recognized as installed on my new system? What happens if this fails? If it fails i have no possibilty to delete the 70gb of the restauration because i have no access to the WindowsApps Folder which means i have to reinstall Windows 10 again.

Did somebody already tried to backup and restore Windows 10 Apps successfully?

    Greetings

There's a rather poor video illustrating what you have to back up here:
    I used Google
    back up and restore forza

    YouTube

You don't have to use Acronis 2019 as per the video. But you can see what needs to be backed up- according to the video.

    ----------------------------
Note: if you have a disk image of your system anyway- disk imaging is constantly recommended here- e.g. Macrium Reflect (free) - you can extract any file or folder from that image and copy it.

So make sure you have a disk image of your current installation
    Clean install Win 10
    Install Macrium Reflect
Explore the image file from the old installation
Recover the files and folders you want.

    Hope that helps.
