What does this Macrium message mean?

I'm a new user of Macrium Reflect. When I first installed the program, I successfully added the Windows Boot Menu - "Windows RE 10 Release 1809 (64-bit)". I also created rescue Media on a USB Flash drive.

Today I decided to re-create the rescue media on a different USB Flash drive. When I selected Other Tasks -> Create Rescue Media... I got a popup "WIM file not found:

FYI the original version of Windows RE 10 was release 1809.

What does this mean, and what should I do?

Are you trying to create it from winre, or from downloaded pe files?

If winre, you can check if the bcd recovery sequence is set up correctly.

I assume macrium gave a choice, like Aomei does

a WIM file is a Windows IMage file. This is a single file containing a bootable windows system and, in the case of the Macrium WIM, the Macrium software.

The first time you ran the Rescue Media Builder Macrium copied you 1809's recovery environment (WinRE) and used that to build a custom WIM. When you set the boot menu a copy of this WIM was placed in a C:\Boot folder and set this as a boot option in the boot menu. You have since upgraded to 1903 and the original WIM seems to have gone missing in the upgrade process. Macrium ias asking if you want to make a new one.

Click 'Yes' and Macrium will rebuild its .WIM using your updated 1903 recovery environment and update the boot menu to use it. One the new WIM has been built you can then make a usb without having to rebuild the WIM again.

Thanks! That worked just fine. Also, thank you for explaining the process.
