    Tip:
I know its been months since my last post but wanted to share this tip.

After making a good bootable AOMEI Backupper USB stick, I then used AOMEI to make a image of the AOMEI USB stick. :)
I have made a couple of bootable USB stick by restoring the AOMEI image to a USB stick.
I have 2 or 3 of them now with USB 2.0 for an older laptop and USB 3.0 for the newer pc's.

It is not always that simple as you may not have drivers got all devices not used to create the usb drives. You should test each drive on target pc.

Really, you should create iso on target pc.

NVME drivers are the worst culprits e.g. if you create an iso on a pc without nvme drives, it may not work in pcs with an nvme drive.

It is not difficult. To support oem 11/12/13 gen cpu machines as well as normal machines, unzip this 5mb zip file and browse to the drivers when creating winpe boot media. dell-rst-winpe10.zip

Or unzip it onto the usb stick to be loaded if needed.

I'd like to use aomei as well. I've heard it's easier and has a cleaner UI than macrium.

I would like to use it to create a golden image. But need a little help or tutorial in doing that. I don't own a server or MDT or any of the Microsoft enterprise tools. And frankly they're a little overkill for the small needs of my network. I just have 4 different PCs. I want to install a custom version of Windows on. Hoping aomei can help here.

created by backerupper. I got Booticex64, but can not figure out where to add that element in the Winpe BCD.
you could do it with pecmd.exe either on winpe load or after you have entered winpe

    command is

    pecmd.exe DISP W1024 H768 B32 F60

Normally put pecmd.exe in winpe \windows\system32
    pecmdx64.zip

    what is your winpe?

is it on usb stick ?

is it created from winre.wim by backupper. or did you download the winpe media ?

    Nope - just limited.

Macrium UI is far more flexible but is not so intuitive for beginners perhaps.

Strange ; always placed my boot-iso on a Ventoy-stick , could boot in " normal boot " , now have to choose for " wimboot ( second choise in Ventoy ) , first with this 7.3.4-version !!
Previous versions always in "normal boot "................

If you have the plugin, you could just copy boot.wim from the aomei media onto ventoy stick and give a name something like backupper734.wim

    Plugin.wimboot . Ventoy

make a folder on the big partition where your isos are and name it ventoy.

then copy the ventoy_wimboot.img into that ventoy folder you just made. Now it can boot wim files.
