Confusingly, the 'write' speed seems to be calculated from the data read from the source drive and the time taken, rather than the data actually written to the image. This is particularly noticeable when doing a Differential image.

hello and thanks for replying I don't know what is
    Differential means
    but I have 2 questions

1-I just start macrium and hit create an image of partitions required to backup and restore windows
I think this is a full system backup right ? am I doing it right for a full system backup ?
2-also these incorrect write speed will Not affect the image created right ?

    thank you soo much .

Correct. You did a full system backup. You would also (by default) have been offered the chance save a backup definition file.

You will find these (if you saved one) on the Backup Definition Files tab. Here you can select to run the same backup again, saving you having to set it up from scratch.

You can choose to run it as a Full, Differential or (if you have the paid for version) Incremental backup. A Differential backup only saves all the changes since the Full backup, so it makes a much smaller additional .mrimg file. To be able restore this backup you need to keep the .mrimg files for Differential and the Full backup it is based on.

They're not 'incorrect', just misleading. Don't worry, the image will be fine.
