While we have System Restore my plan counts on and uses Macrium. My daily Win 10 machine is backed up weekly on a schedule.

Why go through the hassle of re-imaging when a restore point is quicker and simpler?

I use restore points all the time. In fact, whenever I install a new GPU driver, I create a restore point in case I need to revert. Works like a charm without issue. Yeah, it's good to have an image but it's use is last resort.

Actually, I've found that with the length of time it sits there on a blue screen just saying 'Preparing to restore' it takes about the same time as a Macrium restore.
