    Imaging Help

    Hey guys,

So let me preface this by saying I am in no way an expert on computing. That said, I am trying to find the best way to go about imaging our computers for work. I work in the AV rental industry and we sometimes rent laptops to our clients. When the equipment returns, we clear out all of their work as they rarely do that themselves in preparation for the next rental. Currently we are booting them up and manually resetting each individual laptop to a designated standard. This is time consuming and I know there are much faster/easier ways of accomplishing this through imaging. All of our current laptops are of the same model with the only exception being that some sport 8GB of ram and some 12GB.

    Another thought on this topic:

How about creating a customized recovery partition on the system and then restoring it to that recovery partition?

Please see this tutorial for details:

Would a simple Restore Point do the job?

Well, If he has same make model and hardware (ram wont matter)
Then a single image burnt to a dvd on flash drive would do the trick.

    addem:
with macrium reflect you could make an image of only the system partition , the others probably wouldn't
    be messed with by users.
