Backup Problem

On your last screenshot, showing the O: destination folder..... Did you follow all the way thru with Next , etc., and save the definition? Or just stop right there and go back and click Image this Disk? I don't think you actually finished the definition phase and saved it. Try again, and follow all the way thru, save it, and run the backup from your definition file.

Right click the definition file, and RUN, and type. Easy way to do it.

Don - looks like you started by clicking on "Image this disk" in first screenshot while a disk 3 partition was selected - I doubt that's what you intend. Note that in 2nd screenshot you have Disk 3 partitions presented as sources. You want to have the disk with your C: drive on it selected (of which you've only checkmarked 5 of the 9 I can see for imaging, BTW). Then your disk containing C: drive will be presented as a source.

If you click on the upper disk, you should have a link to "Image this disk" right underneath that one, not under Disk 3.

Disk #3 is not checked as source in that pic.

Pic #1 shows the partitions checked for source. They are the OS and supporting partitions. They look correct to me. The other ones are extra data, etc. partitions.

Tbh in the screenshot it appears there’s a mark or dot after the \ in the destination. Is this correct or just my bad eyes?
Once you click on the O destination drive you should click on next for further options or click on Finish to complete setup for running the backup.

I blew it up a little. Looks like a dash "-"



But you're correct, I think he needs to finish the def file, like I posted back up a bit, in post #2.
