    System Restore Error "0x8007045b"


    I tried to do a system restore but encountered an error: "0x8007045b". Is says system restore couldn't successfully do a restore point. What do you guys suggest?

    SR is well known for not being reliable in restoring.

    You could try starting it from advanced startup options- e.g via SHIFT left click Restart. But it may well not help.

    And you could try starting it by booting your PC from a Win 10 install disk, and via Repair your computer, to a System Restore prompt.

    And look at the text with the error number- and research that - example:

    Try booting into safe mode & using system restore that way.
    Often third party anti virus will interfere with the restore due to their self protection module.

    See if you can find this file on the computer:
    C:\windows\logs\systemrestore
    If it is found then zip and post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.
