Boot usb fails to load one file

Updated Macrium this morning - Created new boot usb - after completion the following came up:

    CopySingleFile failed c:\boot\macrium\\WinREFiles\media\Boot\boot.sdi
One or more PE Environment files failed to copy to the USB device

Will a format and redo solve this? Hope so - thanks.

Sounds like a plan. Nothing to lose by trying.

After the update you did restart your device?

Do you mean the boot usb or the Dell laptop? I assume you mean the usb - to test it. No I didn't - guess I could try that tho. It has also been suggested that I uninstall/reinstall Macrium to clear the problem. Would rather not - I'll try booting with the usb first. Thanks.

I had the same issue yesterday on a machine I was working on. There wasn't enough space on USB Thumbdrive. Was using a 1GB.

Assuming the USB thumbdrive is just Macrium boot drive format and recreate. Still fails look at log it offers you.

What size USB thumbdrive are you using.

On the restart question... when you patch Macrium it requires a reboot. It also allows you to defer. I've deferred other things in the past and then forgotten. So the restart was for PC just to be sure.

I just reinstalled Macrium and recreated USB boot. All now works fine. 14GB usb. Should have plenty of room. Thanks again for your thoughts.
