Macrium Reflect 7 free - can't restore to different HDD

I installed MR 7 free to my older MBR system and created a complete image of an old 7 home, etc. for testing. Saved it to a 2TB HDD and wish to restore to a 320GB HDD. The image is ~240GB(?).

I cannot find an option anywhere to restore to a HDD other than the one the image is on. Only shows C: after I choose the only image.

Am I missing something? I've been all over the internet, a number of forums, the tenforums tutorials. Even the few similar threads show "yeah, you can do that, 100%" but my ver 7 (free) does not give the option. I figure I could copy the image, but the reason for BU is in case the OS drive fails. Obviously I'd be restoring to a different HDD vs. the dead one (or one with some glitchy software bug) OR the "Image HDD".

Opps, yeah I just noticed w/medium compression that image will prob reflate to over 400GB so I'm stuck using the 2TB anyway. But for future reference...

Anyone able to explain to me where to find the option?

    Thank you,

You click on link to select a different target drive. Not at pc to post image.

    Is your 320GB drive initialised?

Welcome to the forum. When you try to restore is the drive you want to restore to pligged in and showing in disk manager and explorer? If the image is to big you would have to redo it and remover some files so its the right size

The HDD I wish to restore to is initialized and shows up in disk manager and MR when searching for the image. The image should restore to 261GB so it should fit on the HDD. But I'm not seeing any 'link' to select a different target. I'll try again.

Thanks gent. Embarrassing but I must have blanked on the double arrows Restore option. Maybe I'm losing it...

    Working great now. Thanks again.
