    Macrium busy ? already running?

    Hi

I have been using Macrium for years and all has been fine.

Now I get "Reflect is busy. A backup or Restore operation is currently running"

It's set to back up "C" on a daily basis.

Tried uninstall and install latest free version but same error.

    Any suggestions?

It has never happened to me but I do not use scheduled backups and I also use the paid version, you may want to post your question here:

.. but MR's forum isn't available to free users...and I think fergiet said he/she's using the free version.

    However searching for the message
Reflect is busy. A backup or Restore operation is currently running
will give results from that forum.. e.g.
    Refect is busy.

To find more results just try Google e.g.

The Forum I believe is for all users of MR. MR Support is only available to paid users. The Forum is NOT where one gets support.

So how does one circumvent this as a free user?

You can't register as a free user.. but you can browse it, search it & find results from it e.g. with Google.

That is strange I was never a free user and support does not go through this forum so it should be free for any user. I will have to look into to this.

Hi, did you try the link I posted above?
    Refect is busy.

If you say 'no solution works' it is unlikely anyone will try to think of what you have tried and suggest something different.
    What exactly have you tried?

The implication is that some service or process related to Macrium is running.

No - only paid users can post to the forum - free users can only read.

Actually, you do get support from it in the same way as people get support here. MR staff often reply.
