Use Win Backup to reinitialize another computer?

By some strange turn of events, I have four (4) Windows 10 computers. Two are up-to-date, with version release 1809, version 17763.316. The other two are stuck on release 1803. I have no data that I can't replace on the 1803 machines, and would like to use the backup from my 1809 (Home license) system (the so-called "Windows 7" backup) to wipe the1803 system drives clean and start afresh with 1809. I could then simply remove software I don't want on these two machines. Would this work? PS: One of my "good" 1809 machines is a "Pro" version and the other a "Home" version. I'll take care to use the Home 1809 for the backup.

Its simpler quicker to just download 1809 boot from it and do a clean install Download Windows 10

Or after making the USB flash drive, instead of booting from it and doing a clean install, just run setup.exe on the flash drive from within Windows to upgrade to 1809.

Or click 'Check for updates' in Windows Update. According to Microsoft 1809 is now "fully available for advanced users who manually select 'Check for updates' via Windows Update".

Windows 10, Version 1809 Rollout Status as of January 16, 2019

    • We are now starting our phased rollout to users via Windows Update, initially offering the update to devices we believe will have the best update experience based on our next generation machine learning model.
    • Fully available for advanced users who manually select “Check for updates” via Windows Update.

I would image backup using Macrium Reflect Free, then restore image to new pcs. Windows 10 is very good at sorting out hardware changes and nine out of ten times ij just works fine.

So long as pc boots ok, and things are basically working, you can check in device manager for any driver updates.
