    Here are the logs.

I noticed that the computer was unresponsive around 8:50 PM EDT yesterday (5/12/2019). I have uninstalled the mouse software, and I am going to leave my laptop on in disuse until the end of my work day to see if it does the same freezing thing.

The V2 log collector files displayed:

The previous system shutdown at 8:43:48 PM on ?5/?12/?2019 was unexpected.

    These entries can appear with:
    a) BSOD crashes
    b) non-BSOD crashes
    c) computer power off

I have HWmonitor. My fans were set using Gigabyte Control Center. Both of those shutdowns correlate with when the computer froze up and I long-pressed the power button to shutdown. Do the logs say anything about why the computer froze up? Thermally everything was fine.

The log files were otherwise unremarkable.

So basically, there is no real answer to why it did that?

This was the yesterday one. Nothing lines up. The computer was offline when it happened. The Nahimic problem was from the night before.

If the hangs/freeze are recurrent you can open a new thread to troubleshoot.
