OK folks... what version of Macrium Reflect Free are we talking about? (in case it's time for me to update... )

Does everyone automatically update to whatever new version is released or, like me, stick with what works for fear that newer version may not...)
The latest release is 7.2.3957. I believe (Never tried it) you can turn auto updating off by not checking any update option. I've always kept up with the latest release. They fix things pretty quick.

I know what the latest release is. Sorry but that wasn't my question.

    I'll try again...

Is the thread discussing Macrium Reflect version 7 or version 6?

I'm assuming version 7 which I've been considering upgrading to.

The thread is discussing Macrium's speed period. Any version.

Post #9 from @Josey Wales notes a "speed drop with the last update and with build 1809".

I assume 'build 1809' actually means OS version 1809 but it's not clear whether 'last update' refers to an OS build/release update or to a Macrium Reflect update.

Why's it so difficult to get a straight answer - Macrium Reflect 7 or 6?

Answer can't be any more specific.

The last update refers to both 1809 and Macrium Reflect. The OS is 1809 just as the next release will be 1903 . There is no MR 8.
