Would it be easier to delete Macrium, remove all traces of it from the data base and then re install it again?

Not necessary at all, and a high risk proposition. Sleeping bears, and all that. Let it be.

    Hi Dick,

You were right. It's finished a back up and is now verifying so all is well.
it's 22:35 here so am heading for the sack. Will pick up your posts tomorrow afternoon after I come back from the sick bay. My wife is having her assessment for a shoulder replacement operation. Cheers for now.

Thank you Dick. I am hoping we get an engineer today so he can connect our broadband and we can have proper comms. So much rain the cable manhole had 6 inches of water in it which created problems. A new cable has been installed and just needs connecting. Cheers for now Yours aye Ron
