    Problem with file history backup

I cannot change the drive for FILE HISTORY. I have been able to remove the old drive but although the drive I want is listed, clicking it has no effect.

Is FILE HISTORY of much use anyway? I have not bothered with it before, and when I look at what has been saved it seems very scrappy, with unwanted folders, blank pages, mainly empty folders, and only a few icons displayed, many of which do not link, etc. I rather doubt I would find anything of use if I needed it. but thought I should give it a trial for a while.

Hi, there are plenty of (free) backup and sync programs around as I'm sure you know, if file history doesn't suit.

Some have found MS Synctoy works perfectly.
Download SyncToy 2.1 from Official Microsoft Download Center

    Hello Clayto,

If you haven't already, you might see if you may be able to use another option in the tutorial below to change your File History drive.
