I have been using Macrium Reflect (Paid version) for a few years now.

I learned about this program on a previous version of this forum. I think it was on sevensforums.com. :) And I have never regretted it. Every night, the program makes a backup to a NAS for me, and it has saved my bacon a few times already. :)

BTW, I make a full backup every month, and an incremental backup every day. Works like a charm!

I have installed Macrium 7 Free version, and it does seem to have all the features and options the average user needs (and then some! ). It will take me a while to digest and choose the options to use - coming from the relatively primitive Windows Backup image tool...

Glad to hear that! Lots of help available here on TF if you need.

May have already been posted, but here is the Tutorial on TF for Macrium:

    Wise choice!
Make a backup plan and stick to it, to have peace of mind, when you deliberately mess up with your system, or when the Microsoft 'geniuses' decide to release a buggy update.
It will save your a.... several times!

Macrium Reflect Free. The only part I use is the recovery media for creating/restoring disk images.

I have Seagate backup USB 4TB. I keep copies of what I want. I haven't used the backup toolkit yet though, as I feel if I had to I would do a fresh install if I had to and stil keep al important stuff on the 4TB USB.

I don't do system images but I do back up my files with Uranium-Backup.
What would you do if your system crashed? Would you just reinstall Windows and then copy over all your important files? Would you have to reinstall all your programs from scratch?
