Macrium Restore Image

I just performed a clean install from 1809 ISO saved the MR image of the clean install to my ext. USB HD and 64GB 3.0 flash drive. This morning I tested the clean install from the flash drive, MR went through all the image restore set up then I received an error message "Failed to install" and I think it said unable to locate image?
Any help would be appreciated. This is the first time I tried to restore a USB Flash Drive Image.

What are you booting from to restore the image?

Actually I used the recently added desktop Macrium PE. It's a nice feature and worked well with my ext. USB HD but not the flash drive. I was thinking maybe that's the problem? I've always used ext. HD's, never a restore from a flash drive I'm a newbie to imaging with flash drives.

If it worked with the ext HD but not the flash drive, I would say the flash drive is the problem. Did you verify the image after you created it?

Always verify any imaging.
