    Macrium in Startup


    Does the ReflectUI.exe really NEED to be in my system Startup?

    No but time scheduling of backups will not be possible.

    I'm having a go around with Macrium on their forum about it now. There are two programs, "reflectui.exe" and "reflectmonitor.exe" that are being detected as "new" startups each time Win 10 is started. I have WinPatrol which monitors for changes and WinPatrol throws up message to allow or disallow "new startup detected" each time. Macrium wants to point fingers at WinPatrol, but WinPatrol is doing what its supposed to do when it detects a "new" startup program.

    If both of these Macrium startups are "disallowed" the program still works OK and I can do my full disc image backups.
