Since installing 1809, I haven't seen "Windows Modules Installer" create a daily Restore point. 1803 created a "Windows Modules Installer" on a daily basis for the past 3 months. Has anyone else noticed the welcomed absence of the daily restore point.
Still doing it here ... I still have SR turned off on both my PC's, so I can't say for sure it didn't ... but according to the CBS log it tried to create a restore point and it created new xxxx_xxxx.xml files in C:\Windows\servicing\Sessions on both PC's
I turned SR back ON after the update and created a manual Restore point. Currently that's still the only entry.
I installed 1809 Tuesday night and it turned off system restore. I turned it back on. Verification task ran Wednesday night with no restore point set. However, the task just ran and it set a restore point. Can't make up its mind.
