Backing Up Questions

On my HP, my computer is set to automatically back up (mainly photos) to my external hard drive. But I used to back everything up to OneDrive. Now, that I have added the external drive, OneDrive doesn't back up my recent photos anymore. How do I get my computer to back up to OneDrive and my external hard drive after the photos have been edited in Lightroom or Photoshop?

My mom's PC is also set to back up important files and photos to OneDrive. How can I make sure that her computer is always backing up to OneDrive?

Its better to use Google photos download Google sync and tell it what to backup and your done. The importants thing is it gives you unlimited FREE storage I have 180,000 photos backed up

Create a dummy onedrive folder and symlink it to folder with pictures - they will get synced automatically to onedrive - no need to copy to a onedrive folder.

@cereberus, the main photos that are finished being edited in Lightroom or Photoshop are backed up to the external drive and to an Adobe Creative Cloud catalog. When I download files and pictures from over the internet, they are normally saved to my downloads folder.

So, I need help in where I should point these files and photos to OneDrive if there was to ever be an emergency.
