    Macrium Reflect home version question

This might be a silly question sorry if so but, each time I save an Image backup to my second SSD do I need to create a new Rescue Disc too? or does it really matter as long as I haven't changed any hardware components if I use the same rescue disc to boot from each time? Thanks for all replies!

The one rescue disc will restore any of your backups if they were saved by the same version of MR

Yes, an MR 7 rescue disk (or usb) can restore any MR 7 image. In fact, it can also create images.

I have MR installed on one PC and have used the rescue usb to boot and create images for my other PCs that have never had MR installed, 32bit, 64 bit, Win10, Win7 - they have all been imaged and restored with that one original MR rescue drive.

The only hardware-specific drivers my rescue usb includes are for the WiFi, all the rest of the hardware drivers it loads are the generic WinPE drivers, so it's effectively a 'universal' disk that will boot on almost any hardware.

If a new version comes out, you may need to update Rescue drive. I do it after each Reflect update.
