Pure Speculation .... but makes one wonder ... if MS having WD (Verification Task) creating daily restore points now, they are trying to fix the SR/WD 0x80070005 issue ???
Guess I could fire up Win10 PRO IP VM and test it ... lol

Later on today I'm going to do the upgrade/repair from the DVD to see if it fixes it.
It was working at one time; my suspicion is either a recent update broke it, or the install of Panda Free a/v
did something. This is an experimental install of Enterprise 1607 LTSB I'm playing with, so it doesn't have all
the feature updates, improvements to WD being one of them
I completed my upgrade/repair keeping files and my apps. I restarted the system and WD will not start,
I get a message RPC server unavailable. The upgrade seems poor, as well as WD problems, Windows Update would
not work,
even standalone packages I had on the HDD would not install until I deleted Softwaredistribution folder and restarted
I'm getting a bit off topic, but so much for the repair install ! Looks like a clean install may be on the cards!
