Investigate Robocopy from the command line, but it's very powerful. Be careful.

Yes, I have written myself a backup script that uses it. The /M option can be useful if you want to try making an incremental backup...
/M :: copy only files with the Archive attribute and reset it.
...on the next run, only new files or ones that have changed will be copied. Be very careful though, a few wrong option choices and Robocopy can delete files too.

Xcopy is an older less powerful command, but also has the /M option.

Take a look at Robocopy. This is from sevenforums but works exactly the same on Windows 10 ROBOCOPY - Create Backup Script - Windows 7 Help Forums

    MadPaxx:

Freefilesync is not part of Windows. It's a separate downloadable free program.

Apparently it has some command line options once installed.

Did you download and install it?
