I occasionally create a Restore Point when installing or uninstalling (I use Revo).
All of a sudden I've been getting errors with the codes 0x8004230F and 0x81000203.
I have made no changes so I am at a loss as to what has happened.
Any ideas anyone?
PS: I have tried the available suggestions regarding using GPEDIT to ensure Shadow copy services are started.

As a suggestion have you tried to disable then turning System Restore back ON. Note Disabling will delete all Restore points.
I have used Restore on ocassion, but, for reliability I prefer creating images.
Dammit.
Nothing seems to fix this problem.
I'm just going to disable system restore and live without it.
It seem it is just another busted flush from Microsoft.
Anyone have any Linux education material?

Yes.. I believe that there's a paper folder in the corner of some room collecting dust that no one every barely visits. I will relay this message to Brink for him to go look for that paper folder.
