But why would you want to disable the service?
Once you run program, and go to shutdown, Windows complains Hasleo is still in use even though it is finished. I am suspicious also about this - is Hasleo tracking something blah blah blah.

Contrary to my earlier views, I have now uninstalled it.

I have yet to find a satisfactory backup alternative to Macrium Reflect that does exactly what I want i.e. backup efi, MSR, C drive and recovery partition but ignore 5th data partition. All the ones I have tested choose different partitions for a system backup! Only Macrium Reflect chooses the four standard partitions.

Ah! That explains why I had to stop the service in order to be able to remove all the remnants of Hasleo! Thanks for the explanation. I am now experimenting with EaseUS Todo Backup Free. So far it seems to meet my needs and to be reliable. This is the new 2023 version and seems to employ up to date networking technology such that I'm having no issues with it finding my networked backup storage drive. The interface is pretty intuitive as well. The only thing I miss seeing that was in Macrium free is the ability to automatically delete old backup sets when drive space is getting low.

You should read my comparisons - this was the worst of the alternatives - too easy to screw things up.

In the end, if you want real quality - splash the cash!
