You may have to Initialize it. What is the BIOS set RAID or AHCI is your system recognizing this SSD? My system MR Ver 7.1.3317 has no issues recognizing M.2 NVME SSD in either mode RAID or AHCI

UEFI set to AHCI. The NVMe SSD is the system drive and works but when I boot up from USB there is no target SSD.
