I have WD Element with Windows10. How do I open it to retrieve a file. If I click on WD Elements in" MY PC" I get Capture2 If I double click on WD Elements I get capture2. How does one actually get into the programme to be able to work it please?

Ron You are almost there. Right click on the saved image (Capture 1) Click Explore capture 2 should appear. Place a check mark in the box for the partition you want to explore, Macrium will assign a drive letter and mount it on your desktop. When done open Explorer, right click on the desktop image, select Macrium Reflect and dismount the image. That's it!

Hi Stitch, thanks for your response but it doesn't seem to work for me. I could not find Capature1 as mentioned, all I can get is what you will see below. I don't know what letter to put in which box being shown./ Sorry but I am not a computer buff and am struggling a bit.

    Cheers,

Place a tick in the <no name>C box & click OK, this will open the image so you can browse it & add a drive letter.
To close the image I open computer & right click on the image drive & choose Macrium reflect>dismount image.

I usually mount an image from within Macrium.
