    System Restore Points Missing

I was thinking about restoring my hard drive to an earlier configuration to see if that would correct an issue I'm having with one of my applications. But when I opened the System Restore window, I was surprised to see only one Auto Restore Point, dated within the past week. My settings for Restore allow up to 22.8GB (5% of disk capacity), and it shows only 3.28GB used. Any idea why I don't see more Auto Restore Points?

My windows10 is Version 1803, Build 17134.112 (Need to update my Profile)

    When was 1803 installed?

    Restore points don't survive Feature updates. V1703 > V1709 or V1709 to V1803

Did you run Disk Cleanup or other Cleaning products like Wise Disk Cleaner?

Yep. 1803 was installed May 22. That explains it. I do run CCleaner from time to time. but don't believe it removes Restore Points. Do you know for sure?

    Thanks for your quick reply!

Can't say. I know there is a new CCCleaner (was bought out) and it very well could. You will need to check settings.

All this said I use and regularly recommend Macrium Reflect. Free, reliable and recommended by members. If you buy there is even a feature call Image Guard which prevents virus and ransomware for toying with backups. +++

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

Depending how your disk / data is setup you can create some interesting backups. I back up my partitions needed for Windows as one backup (using image guard). Can schedule or run on demand.
