Only if you want to. Almost 8pm over that side of the Pond. A nightcap, perhaps. A quick one to practice. Remember this pic?
click where I'm pointing to select the C: partition (the one with all your data). Say OK, and it will open just like any other drive. You can bounce around anywhere you wish. You can copy from it, but you cannot write or copy to it. it's safe. Just remember to right click the Macrium Drive in My PC and unmount it.
The Verify should wait till you have several hours available.
Dick, It's been a long day and it's nearly eight o'clock (you will see I have changed my time to GMT) and if it's alright with you, I would like to shuffle off and collapse in my armchair. Having said that, If you agree, I will contact you sometime tomorrow afternoon for another lesson. @f14tomcat.
Strange, I clicked on documents and only got one?
Let's not spend too much time on this one, I don't want to take all your time.
Be interesting to know why I only got one doc which is all about my old ship, tomorrow then. Good night and thanks again for all your patients and help.
Best of very thing to you and yours, take care, catch up tomorrow.
Ron
Hard to tell from the pic, but that is a folder, not a file, and it appears to be in the root directory. It's also in lower case, not upper, as in "documents" not "Documents" which is the Windows norm. When you come back, please post a pic of the very first screen you see when you open the mounted drive in My PC. I posted mine above as an example of the first thing I see.
My Documents folder (upper case), is in my "user" folder. That is odd, and probably is not your real "Documents" folder. Look down further under "users" and your User Name.
Thanks.....
