How about a screenshot of what is in that Macrium folder on your WD drive?

    WD Elements

Good Morning Dick, please see the attached. Having had time to consider the scheduling and time for my backups, I would like to change them to once a month and starting at 7pm on a Monday. I never had time to make much of an input as the Macrium guy rushed around the screen and left me standing.

I am thinking about replacing my HD, it's 8 years old and is probably going to start giving me problems. I don't want to buy a new machine, at 86, it wouldn't be worth it, I am getting very close to the head of the queue if you see what I mean. In the process, I could maybe be able to get rid of all the rubbish that is on there?
    Cheers,
    Ron

Hi Ron, glad you found how to change the schedule on your own.

I see you want to replace the HD in the computer,
I would rather you find a friend or someone who is tech savvy to do this for you as there are too many things that can go wrong if you have never tried anything like this before.

You should have it replaced with a SSD, this will speed up things for you as opposed to installing
    another HD.

OK, I have had read up on the net about an SSD. I contacted a local computer repair shop whom I have dealt with in the past and asked if they would be able to transfer everything that is on the current HD to a 1T (or bigger) SSD. They said they would have to do a diagnostic test to see if an SSD would be acceptable to my computer.

Ron I am an SSD person myself. Dealing with the repair shop you trust sounds like a good idea.
