Disk Management? Love to see that screenshot!
And so you will kind sir.....
I'm not totally certain, but I think they will go away in Disk Management if you were to restart your PC. Right now, those drive letters are still "registered" in the open OS, Windows 10, and are showing....even though uninstalled in Device Manager. A reboot (restart) generally clears that.
You can do that if you want. Let me know.
OK, will do that. It's almost 10-15pm now and my eye's are starting to get a bit sore. I will do the restart and get back to you and let you know if those USB's have gone. Perhaps then we could call it a night and restart tomorrow afternoon?
Sorry to say Tom.... Tomorrow:: I will be home by 3pm so will give you a buzz round about 3-30pm our time. Thanks again for all your time, and I am very grateful. Do we have very much more to get through? I will be getting a visit from someone at Macrium, he/she is going to take over my computer, should be interesting, you will be able to see what has been altered.
Cheers RonB
Hmmmm according to your pic, they came back. May have to research that one. Ok, later with that. I forgot about your Macrium appointment. Do that, then we'll see. Goodnight!
Good night Tom, have a nice day as you say over there....
Good day Tom,
Had my meet with Macrium, very interesting! He/she said I had two sets of the same USB drives because of the way Windows works? Didn't understand that however, he/she couldn't remove them. A backup schedule was set up to run every Monday evening starting at 1700. I was hoping to watch how that was done so I would be able to do it if necessary at a later date but wow, the cursor shot around the screen at a rapid rate of knots and I never learned a thing, except where to get knowledge tutorials. Sorry to say, I am still in the dark as to how Macrium works and about all its benefits and faults, if there are any.
I will give you a buzz round about 1530/1600, maybe would like you to take a look at what was done and to have your comments?
Have a nice day!!
Cheers RonBin
