How to Burn an Audio CD With VLC | Techwalla.com
Hi Tom, thanks for coming back to me. Yes, I have the VLC CD player which is great because I can now listen to Gerry Mulligan and Oscar Peterson discs and the MJQ etc but I have been trying to get a free CD burner. I have tried the one you suggested but got now here, see the attached. Norton keep telling me it blocked and a nasty site. Others I have tried are using IMG Burn as a come on and want you to download PDF conversions etc. I down loaded one site which I thought was ImageBurn but turned out to be NCH Software and required payment there and then. So, no luck so far. As Macruin, I am trying to discover how to retrieve a backed up file and finding it very interesting.
Cheers for now,
RonB
I just installed ImgBurn safely & successfully from their link, not because I need it but to advise on how to avoid malicious website warnings as I've seen on other computers. Here are some screenshots which I hope I can explain properly.
You want to make sure to remove items that would normally be included in the download as I believe the malicious website warning is included at least in the ByteFence choice.
Click here to customize the installation on the left side and you will see Install ByteFence security product checked
Uncheck it
Move over to the Yahoo side and select click here to customize the installation and view the checked items
Uncheck them unless you want them
Finally
Selecting other websites will show similarities or even the same: follow the same explanations.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for that, any chance you could send me the link to the site you used please??
Regards,
RonB
ImgBurn official website The Official ImgBurn Website
Select download: you will see their mirror downloads: select the one of your choice. I used ImgBurn but I believe MajorGeeks to be a trustworthy choice as I've used it before but I don't recall what needs to be addressed in their choices.
That is the exact same link as in post #40:
Can anyone help me with some info about a WD Elements please? - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums
Far as choices to be addressed in the Major Geeks link, not much....just click it. They have 2 mirror sites for it, either one. Just click.
Thank you very much, job done, CD burner installed.
Thanks again for your help, very much appreciated.
Off to bed now, nearly 10-30pm. Been a long day trying to get where I am now with a CD Burner..
Cheers and kid regards,
RonB
